As a human being, it's really reasonable to have things we are afraid of. Even, Superman the strongest human (I know it's fiction HAHAHA) has things he's afraid of such has kryptonite. That's superman. How about us, ordinaries human? I think we have plenty of fear of something.
- I'm fear of height. When I got my first experience to do hiking, I went to Papandayan Mountain in Garut. it's was surreal. In the middle of the track I take a rest, I sat, drinking, eaten snack bar to recharge my energy. Before I wrap my rest, I decide to go to the edge of the mountain to see the scenery. It was beautiful until I see below my feet, I saw the cliff that really really deep, I don't know the exact number, however, I'm confident it's so far. If I fall to the cliff I'm sure I'm dead (HAHAHA what a joke everyone knows this). Still, it was a great experience that leads me to like hiking. I went hiking several times and my fear of height slowly decreasing by the frequency I went hiking.
- Watching horror movies!!! Maybe some of you are lovers of horror movies but not me! It's not because I'm afraid of ghosts. Errrr, in someway did but the things that I'm afraid of ghost is when he shows up like a prick and makes me shock like we saw in the movies. Yep, their face, body, and appearance are scary but are gonna scarier when they just show up in front of you out of nowhere like Thanos snapped his finger.
- Becoming blind! OMG! It's my concern right now because we are lived in a digital era where technology is our primary needs and due to my health status. I'm very fortunate that I still can see an object from near my eyes and so far way even depended using glasses and soft lenses. I feel blessed. The way I take care of my eyes is using the 20-20-20 method. Recommended by dr. Nanda when I met him at Mangunkusumo Hospital. The method is 20 minutes staring screen, 20 seconds break from gadgets to see objects far 20 feet from us. You could see trees, traffic lights, or any objects like board advertisement. This method could be used for those who still have healthy eyes too.
- Insects! I don't know where to start, but when I see uncommon insects I'm fear to near, and worst-case have physical contact with them. Moreover for the insect that has fur every point in their body. Kinda gross and amused.
- Growing old and dependent on someone. I can't imagine in my 50s or 60s where my body is not in good shape and especially if I'm sickly. Dang, I don't want in that situation. Alhamdulillah, I'm still young, 20 years old. I have still much time to prepare it all. I will work hard, work smart, take care of my body, and pray to God. What I want in my older era is I'm enjoying my life with my wife, joking with my grandson, and doing homey things like gardening. I believed and trust we can have it! God Bless Us!
My proudest moment after live 20 years (coming to 21 very soon) is I take the courage to out of my comfort zone, give it a shot for every opportunity that some fail, some are successful. Rise up from failures. Be brave and fully responsible for my life, my decision & my body.
Sounds cliche, but true! I believe every big success always starts from small steps. Are you date to start when you want to be star? Are you ready to leave your comfort zone and eager to learn outside your domain? Are you responsible for your things and don't blame others?
Many people talk about their proudest moment associated with their biggest achievement/greatest accomplishment such as graduated from college with cum laude predicate, accomplish sales KPI and other big things in your mind right now. It's not wrong, however, the readers only view your story when you at the top of the wheel. People don't know your struggle, your tears every midnight, your financial concern. It's the time to let the world know your process, not only your accomplishment.
Start view things from another side of the coins. You will find the untold story that may you unexpected before. A story that people don't talk about. A story that you should know and consider!
So, I want you to take back and rethinking accomplishment. Is you enjoy the process?
Life is now about who arrives first, it's about who survives last. Life is not about big things that you accomplish, it's about the step you take and the process you do.
Final though.
Enjoy your process. Value every step you take.
Yo everyone, back again with me. Now on day 4, I want to talk about my dream career. I called it a career, not a job because for me personally, a job is things that push or make us obligated to do something without any sense of purpose. So, I called it a career because in a career their is progress, key learning, and value that we can deliver for ourselves, the community, or society.
So, Luthfi what is your dream career?
First of all, for me, all jobs are basically the same. We do things, we produce things. Input and output. Now, I will define my output, I define the output because the output is our why. Why we want to do those things? why we do those things? why it matters? The output that matters and I want to produce is that I want to make impacts and helping people at least at the individual level to become better, mindful, and living their lives to the fullest.
The input. The input can be anything. All things that can help me to help people to become output that I define before considered as an input. I have several, careers in mind that suitable for the output I want. There is a Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Content Creator. Option 1 and 2 I have experienced it before. In this 21st era, SE and PM are a good career for now and beyond. It has a good salary and career path. But, it doesn't suitable for me because I have a health issue. I can't really fit in tech/startup organizations because of this issue. I cant stare at the computer screen for a long time at a time. I need a break every 20 minutes after staring at the screen for 20 seconds to see objects at least 20 feet far. Usually called 20-20-20 method. So SE & PM crossed out from my list.
Content Creator? What's the difference?
Yeah right, I still figuring out. Still, staring at the screen too. But, what I see the biggest difference is we have flexible workouts. Not a jargon or bullshit. Especially if we self-employed. We own the time, we own how we work at best, how we do things. Maybe SE could to this, but the pressure was so high, that could potentially lead me to overwork (based on my experiences) and make me relentless, then my immunity drop.
Hmmm yeah, I'm just started doing the things, and I pretty sure this is gonna work after several times. Let time answer. Good luck to me, good luck for you who strive to achieve your dream career, pivoting from your current job or for your that until this time doesn't know what input and output that you want. I hope this blog would help you and guide you to define it. Bye.

From Atomic Habits by James Clear
Daily habits can guide your life to a very different destination. 1 percent better or 1 percent worse seems insignificant at the moment, but over the span of moments that make up a lifetime these choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could be. Success is the product of daily habits - not once in a life lifetime transformations. Page 14

Forget about goals. focus on system instead! Goals are about the result you want to achieve. System are about the processes that lead to those results. Page 18-19
Habits are the compound interest of self-improvement. The same way that money multiplies through compound interest, the effect of your habits multiply as you repeat them. They seem to make little difference on any given day and yet the impact they deliver over the months and years can be enormous. Page 13
All big things come from small beginnings. The seed of every habit is a single, tiny decision. But as that decision is repeated, a habit sprouts and grows together. Page 18
From Rich Dad Poor Day by Robert Kiyosaki
In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk.
"You’re only poor if you give up. The most important thing is that you did something. Most people only talk and dream of getting rich. You’ve done something
The love of money is the root of all evil.
The lack of money is the root of all evil.
Emotions are what make us human. Make us real. The word 'emotion' stands for energy in motion. Be truthful about your emotions, and use your mind and emotions in your favor, not against yourself.
If you realize that you're the problem, then you can change yourself, learn something and grow wiser. Don't blame other people for your problems.
Rule #1: You must know the difference between an asset and a liability, and buy assets. If you want to be rich, this is all you need to know. It is rule number one. It is the only rule. This may sound absurdly simple, but most people have no idea how profound this rule is. Most people struggle financially because they do not know the difference between an asset and a liability. “Rich people acquire assets. The poor and middle class acquire liabilities that they think are assets, “ said rich dad.
From Think And Grow Rich by Napoleon Hills
The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat."
You are the master of your destiny. You can influence, direct and control your own environment. You can make your life what you want it to be.
When defeat comes, accept it as a signal that your plans are not sound, rebuild those plans, and set sail once more toward your coveted goal.
Before success comes in any man’s life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and, perhaps, some failure. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit. That is exactly what the majority of men do. More than five hundred of the most successful men this country has ever known told the author their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them.
The way of success is the way of continuous pursuit of knowledge.
A quitter never wins-and-a winner never quits.
Happiness is found in doing, not merely possessing.
An educated man is not, necessarily, one who has an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated man is one who has so developed the faculties of his mind that he may acquire anything he wants, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others.”
Every adversity, every failure, every heartbreak, carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit.
I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing a love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me because I will believe in them, and in myself.
